Which formats are available for single-fold leaflets?
The classics are DIN long and A5, with A4 as a further option. The size refers to the closed final format, meaning the leaflet once folded. You can also choose compact formats such as A6, A7 or A8, or squares up to 21 x 21 cm. The layout can be portrait, landscape or square.
Which paper should I choose for a single-fold leaflet?
One option is 130 g or 170 g matt art paper. Recycled, grass or hemp paper gives a natural look, while a brand paper such as 300 g Gmund Used adds a premium feel. If your leaflets are handled often, for instance as table cards, the water-based varnish protects the surface against dirt and abrasion.
Can I order single-fold leaflets in small quantities?
Yes, single-fold leaflets can be ordered from 10 copies. The configurator shows the price in CHF, including VAT, for every quantity straight away, so you can compare small and large runs at a glance. It is a handy way to test a mini product brochure before a bigger print run.
How should I set up the print file for a folded leaflet?
First choose the format and the fold position, then download the print template from the product page (in German and French). Set up your layout in CMYK at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed and send it as a PDF, TIFF or JPEG. Before printing, our prepress team checks format, colours, resolution and bleed.
Where can the fold be placed on a single-fold leaflet?
The fold can run along the long side, along the short side, off-centre on the long side or on the left. Just one fold gives you far more design options than a simple flyer, for a mini product brochure, a table card or a business card with extra information.
