Formats and options
The range goes from a mini format to an XXL card:
- Postcards, DIN formats: from A8 through A6 to A3, printable on both sides, optionally with rounded corners
- Postcards in your own format: freely selectable from 5.5 x 8.5 cm to 29.7 x 42 cm, square or rectangular
- Postcards, rectangle: numerous formats, full colour on both sides, with hot foil depending on the configuration
- Postcards, square: the eye-catching format, also available on natural paper
- Postcards, round/oval: cards without corners, in various materials
- Postcards, special shape: heart, star, tree, gift or little figure, from 13.8 x 13.8 cm to 13.8 x 20 cm
- All models are available from 10 pieces
Papers and finishes
Choose from offset and coated paper, recycled paper, effect papers and papers from Gmund. For a natural look, there is grass, hemp and kraft paper, and for a distinctive feel, sturdy woodfree board with letterpress. Depending on the configuration, you add a finish partially or across the full surface, for example with hot foil. Depending on the configuration, the papers are FSC or PEFC certified.
Delivery time and shipping in Switzerland
In the configurator, you choose format, paper, finish and quantity, and the price in CHF is calculated immediately. Your print file is checked before production. The exact delivery time is shown before you order. We deliver to Zurich, Bern, Basel and throughout Switzerland. For postal shipping of special formats, please note the requirements of Swiss Post.
Who are printed postcards for?
- Companies: Christmas and New Year greetings to your customers, vouchers and mailings that stand out in the letterbox.
- Private individuals: invitations, thank-you cards after a wedding or birth, and photo cards for the festive season.
- Shops, cafés and artists: take-away cards at autumn trade fairs and Christmas markets, or your own designs as art postcards.
For more text and larger distribution campaigns, flyers are a good option. Labels in your design seal envelopes and gift packaging to match your card, and for personal greetings on any occasion, greeting cards and invitations work just as well. What format is standard for postcards?
The classic postcard format is A6, available from us together with all DIN formats from A8 to A3. Special requirements apply to postal shipping of other formats, which you should check with Swiss Post beforehand.
Can I have postcards printed in a small print run?
Yes, all postcards are available from 10 pieces. This also makes them suitable for a personal invitation or a test run before a larger campaign.
Are postcards printed on both sides?
The DIN formats, your own format and the rectangular cards can be printed on both sides. For the special shapes, you choose between 4/1 colour, meaning a single-colour reverse side, and 4/4 colour.
